Richmond police are looking for a woman and her 1-year-old daughter today who may have been kidnapped by two men wearing green in a white mini-van on Thursday.
Police said that Amalia Jimenez Juarez, 31, and her daughter Guadalupe Garibaya Jimenez were possibly abducted by the men around 7:15 a.m. near Third Street and Bissell Avenue and then driven to an unknown location.
The mother reportedly left phone messages with her family, stating that she was not being harmed but did not know what was happening.
Later that evening, she reportedly called the family and said she and her daughter had been released unharmed, but had no idea where they were.
The two are still missing, police said.
