April 15, 1915 - May 9, 2008 Resident of Oakland James Lee Hill, April 15, 1915 to May 9, 2008 of Oakland, CA born to the family of Fannie Watson and James Hill in Gallion, LA. He was employed by Todd Shipyard for 30 years and retired in 1975. James joined the Greater St. Paul M.B. Church around 1958. In 2001, he joined the Rising Star M.B. Church, and attended until his health began to fail. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Alice, and 6 children. Services are being held Monday, May 19, 2008 at 11:00 am at Evergreen M. Baptist Church, 408 W. MacArthur Blvd., Oakland, CA. No Quiet Hour; Viewing 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Fouche's Hudson Funeral Home, 3665 Telegraph Ave., Oakland, CA.
