Porter, Janice "Byrne"

Resident of Oakdale Died unexpectedly at her mother's home in Hayward on May 12 2008, she was 44 years old. Janice was born and raised in Alameda but had lived in Oakdale for the last 20 years with her husband Mark and daughter Allbrie. Janice leaves behind her 94 year old grandmother Marie Smith, mother Carol Byrne, sister Linda Crawford, and "Her Babies" niece Crystal Crawford and her two children, nephew, Jeremy Crawford and his two children, and niece Hannah Crawford, who is going to miss her Auntie the most! Janice loved potted flowers, gardening, painting, and spending time with "Her Babies". She loved life and felt if, she could touch the lives of those around her with her sense of twisted humor, and put smiles on their faces and laughter in their heart - then her job here on earth would be complete. What we didn't know was that it was going to end so soon - we just weren't ready for her to be taken without warning - without being able to tell her how much she was and always will be "Loved" and never forgotten. There will be a Celebration of her Life at the Porter Homer Home in Oakdale at 2PM on Sunday, May 18th. Their address is 2213 East F St., Hwy/ 120 Oakdale, CA. There will be another Celebration of her Life at her mother's home in Hayward at 2PM on Sunday, June 1st. The Byrnes address is 588 Paradise Blvd., Hayward.
