April 17, 1917-May 10, 2008 Former Resident San Leandro Jean W. Godin, 91, of San Leandro passed away on May 10, 2008, after an extended illness. She was born in Montana and raised in Prince Rupert, BC. At age 21 she moved to her beloved San Francisco where she stayed for over 50 years. She later lived in San Leandro and Castro Valley to be closer to her daughter. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Godin. She is survived by her daughter, Jean R. Godin and daughter-in-law, Margaret Shindelus of Livermore. She was a loving mother, aunt and friend to many and will be greatly missed. Services will be private.
